BioThane® training lines are durable waterproof easy to clean and suitable for puppies and dogs of all ages and sizes.
There are 2 widths and 2 lengths available. Please ensure you select the correct size for your dog. For the longer length click on this link
We recommend the 9mm width with a lightweight trigger clip for small breed dogs. The 16mm width is suitable for medium and large dogs and is fitted with a heavy-duty trigger clip.
All orders will be handmade after your order has been received and sent out within 2 weeks of the order being received. During busier times it may take longer and you will be notified if there is a delay.
Description
BioThane® Training lines are a really useful piece of equipment to have for your puppy and or dog. I use mine regularly with Pumpkin. It allows her to explore areas that may not be safe for a dog to be completely off lead.
When our pups are going through adolescence which can start from as young as 12 weeks of age and last until 2 years or beyond for larger breed dogs their brains aren’t able to retain information as well.
If your pup is running off the lead and they don’t always come back to you they are practising behaviour that you don’t want as the environment they are in is often far more rewarding than the owner/handler. Using a long line will give you peace of mind that your dog can explore their environment safely when it isn’t enclosed.
Why BioThane®?
BioThane® is a polyester webbing with a TPU or PVC coating that makes it more durable waterproof and easy to clean. It is also really nice to handle and doesn’t cause friction burns which you can sometimes get from using the regular polyester webbing that we use for our harnesses and leads, when using one with a bigger dog it can be more comfortable to wear gloves.
BioThane® produce a large selection of colours and widths so you will be spoilt for choice!
As standard we offer 9mm and 16mm widths in two lengths.
If you would like a shorter or longer length line or a different width please drop us a message.
BioThane® is easy to clean. If the line isn’t too dirty you can just wipe it clean with a damp cloth. If it is really muddy just wash it in a bucket of warm soapy water and dry with a towel. Ensure the trigger clip has been thoroughly dried.
