Description
Introduction & Design Benefits
Our miniature harness has been expertly designed to provide superior control while walking your puppy or dog, helping them feel more balanced, secure, and confident on their walks.
Unlike traditional harnesses that feature bulky padding which can restrict a dog’s natural movement, this streamlined miniature harness style allows your dog to move freely. It is lightweight, less bulky, and engineered to ensure maximum comfort during everyday wear.
Key Features & Dual Control Points
-
Two Points of Contact: The miniature harness features two standard attachment points—one located on the top at the back of the harness and another in the centre of the dog’s chest. Both points can be used simultaneously with a training lead (or a double-ended lead) to give you enhanced control and discourage pulling. Matching leads are also available to complete the set.
-
5 Points of Adjustment: Designed with growth in mind, the miniature harness features 5 points of adjustment to ensure a secure, custom fit as your puppy develops.
-
Durable Webbing: Crafted from high-quality polypropylene webbing in either 12mm or 15mm widths. We will expertly select the most suitable webbing width based on your dog’s specific measurements.
-
Sizing Guide: The Extra Small miniature harness is suitable for young puppies and extra-small adult breeds, such as Chihuahuas, Teacup Yorkshire Terriers, and Bichon Frise. The maximum chest measurement for an Extra Small harness is 30cm. (Note: Please always enter your measurements in centimetres).
Important Fitting & Seasonal Considerations
-
Follow Fitting Instructions: You must carefully follow the provided fitting instructions to ensure your miniature harness fits your dog correctly and safely.
-
Coat Variations & Seasonal Grooming: If your dog has a fluffy coat that is clipped during warmer months, please let us know when ordering whether they are currently in a “full coat” or “clipped coat.” This ensures we factor in their fur length so the miniature harness continues to fit correctly year-round.
-
Webbing Guidance for Young Puppies: If you are purchasing a miniature harness for a puppy under 12 weeks of age, their growth rate will depend heavily on their breed. Please get in touch with us if you are unsure, and we will gladly advise you on the most suitable webbing width for your growing puppy or adolescent dog.
Growing Puppies & Our Alteration Service
Because puppies grow so quickly, we offer a flexible alteration service to save you from having to buy an entirely new miniature harness:
-
Underneath Section Replacements: If only parts of the underneath section need to be replaced, you will need to return your original miniature harness to us (please ensure the harness has been washed before posting). Once received, we will replace the necessary sections to accommodate your dog’s new size. You will only be charged for the replacement part of the harness.
