Description
This harness has been designed to provide better control when walking your puppy or dog, helping them to feel more balanced. You must follow the fitting instructions for this harness to ensure that the harness fits your dog correctly. How To Fit Your 2 Point Harness
The harness has two points of contact as standard. One is at the top of the back of the harness, and the other is in the centre of the dog’s chest. Both points can be used with a double-ended leave to give you more control, or you can use one or the other D-rings. Matching items are available.
Some harnesses have lots of padding which can restrict the dog’s movement. Paws 4 Training’s Y-front style of harness allows the dog to move freely and the harnesses are less bulky ensuring they are comfortable for your dog.
There are 5 points of adjustment on the harness allowing for growth.
If a harness is ordered for a puppy and they outgrow the first part you just need to re-measure your pup and let me know the new measurements and I will be able to make the necessary parts that need to be bigger. If only parts of the underneath section need to be replaced you will need to return your original harness to me – after it has been washed. I can then replace the sections that need to be changed.
If your dog has a fluffy coat and can have its fur clipped during the warmer months if you let me know when you order it if they are in a full coat or clipped coat it will ensure that the harness will fit your dog correctly.
The small harness is suitable for some puppies and small adult dogs for example small terriers and spaniels.
We use a 16mm cushion webbing for the small harness. This ensures that you have plenty of adjustment for your puppy as it grows or for your fully grown dog if it gains a bit of weight or you put the harness over the top of a jumper or coat.
The chest measurement for a small harness is between 31cm – 45cm
Centimetres is the required unit of measurement
A – Measure around the base of the neck
B – Measure the point between the shoulder blades and level with the deepest point of the chest (e.g. a labrador is usually around 14 – 16cm)
C – Measure around the deepest part of the chest

Orders will be made to measure and sent out within 1 week of receiving your order. During busier times it may take a bit longer and we will contact you to let you know when you will receive your item(s).
